Our four dedicated rifle lanes are engineered to handle the heavy hitters; we are one of the few indoor ranges in the nation where you can unleash the power of a .50 BMG in a climate-controlled, professional setting. Versatility Across the Line Beyond our long-distance rifle bay, we house two expansive tactical bays featuring a combined 18 lanes at 25 yards. These bays are far more than "pistol pits." Built with rugged durability in mind, our 25-yard lanes are rated to handle up to .308 WIN, making them the perfect environment for zeroing carbines, practicing rapid-fire drills, or honing your handgun proficiency. Gun Range Rules
1. The Range Safety Officers (RSO) must use their discretion/best judgment on shooter’s safety in the following areas:
a. Rapid firing or “double taps”
b. Drawing from a holster
c. Possible intoxicants
2. Rapid fire: rapidly firing a firearm is allowed if done safely, i.e. the shooter’s rounds are hitting the target or cardboard consistently
3. Drawing from a holster: if done safely, at the RSO’s approval. RSO is allowed to withdraw permission with good reason
4. Possible intoxicants: No person under the influence of an intoxicant (weed, narcotics, hard drugs or alcohol) is permitted to shoot on the range
5. Shooting bench: all firearms must remain on the shooting bench, in the lane, unless being fired. If a problem arises with a firearm that the shooter cannot fix, the RSO must first inspect the issue in the bay. If the issue cannot be fixed in the bay and the RSO needs tools, RSO can get the necessary tools from the tool room. If the RSO needs to bring the firearm out of the shooting bay, it MUST be done with utmost safety.
a. Shooters using multiple lanes/firearms: the firearms stay in the lane, the shooters switch
6. Eye/Ear Protection: eye and ear protection are required in the lanes. RSO can use their discretion on the use of shooter’s eye protection.
a. Examples: shooter’s eye protection is fogging up/bothering their eyes, creating an unsafe condition, the shooter can be allowed to shoot without eye protection.
b. No exceptions for hearing protection
7. Firearms:
a. Shooters can bring their own firearms to the range to shoot
b. Firearms must either be: i. Holstered or ii. In a case or iii. With the bolt open and magazine separate
8. Ammunition
a. Shooters can bring their own ammunition for their OWN firearms
Exceptions: i. Armor piercing ii. “Hot” tracers (tracers using an incendiary material) iii. “Dragon’s breath” shotgun shells
9. RSOs, including the range and rental desks, switch positions around every 2hrs throughout the shift. This is to reduce fatigue.
10. Machine Guns:
a. Machine guns are only to be used under the
supervision of an authorized employee. Barrett .50:
a. Only to be used under the supervision of the
RSOs
